Asian-Inspired Fish Tacos

Delicious and heart-healthy fish tacos with an Asian twist, perfect for supporting a diet aimed at lowering high cholesterol.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or halibut)
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 8 small whole grain tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes.
Marinate the fish fillets in the sauce for 15 minutes.
Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
Warm the tortillas on the grill pan for 1 minute per side.
Assemble the tacos by placing cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and a slice of avocado on each tortilla. Top with a piece of grilled fish.
Serve with lime wedges on the side.
