Mediterranean Grilled Chicken with Lemon Herb Marinade

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, basil, cumin, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade.
Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
