Asian-Inspired Baked Salmon

A delicious and heart-healthy baked salmon recipe inspired by Asian flavors, perfect for supporting a diet aimed at lowering high cholesterol.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the sauce mixture over each fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
