Zesty Fish Tacos

Delicious and heart-healthy fish tacos packed with fiber, plant-based proteins, and healthy fats.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small whole grain tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
Brush the fish fillets with the marinade on both sides.
Grill the fish for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through.
Warm the tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds per side.
To assemble the tacos, place a piece of grilled fish on each tortilla.
Top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
