Asian-Inspired Grilled Chicken

A delicious and heart-healthy grilled chicken recipe with Asian flavors, perfect for lowering high cholesterol levels.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade.
Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
Remove chicken from grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
