Fiber-Rich Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delicious chocolate chip cookies made with heart-healthy ingredients to support a diet aimed at lowering high cholesterol.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
