Protein-Packed Indian Meal

A delicious and heart-healthy Indian meal packed with plant-based proteins and fiber to support a diet aimed at lowering high cholesterol.
Ingredients
- 1 cup soya chaap
- 1 cup daal
- 1 block paneer, cubed
- 1 cup soya bean chunks
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes, cook until tomatoes are soft.
Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add soya chaap, daal, paneer, and soya bean chunks. Cook for 10 minutes.
Stir in peanut butter and garam masala. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
In a separate pan, stir-fry cooked brown rice with a little oil and salt until heated through.
Serve the soya chaap, daal, and paneer sabji alongside the fried rice. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
