Indian Spiced Baked Fish

A heart-healthy Indian-inspired fish dish rich in soluble fiber, plant-based proteins, and healthy fats.
Ingredients
- 4 fillets of white fish (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
Place the fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the spice mixture evenly over the fish fillets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the Indian spiced baked fish with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with chopped cilantro.
