Ingredients
- 1 pre-made whole wheat or gluten-free pizza crust
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup kalamata olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Top with chickpeas, red bell pepper, red onion, kalamata olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.
Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and the toppings are heated through.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
