Spaghetti Carbonara

A classic Italian pasta dish made with eggs, cheese, pancetta, and black pepper.
Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
- 4 oz pancetta, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and cheese. Set aside.
In a large skillet, cook pancetta over medium heat until crispy. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with pancetta and garlic.
Remove skillet from heat and quickly stir in egg and cheese mixture. The heat from the pasta will cook the eggs.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
