Italian-Inspired Ryyz wdpcdvj for Lowering Cholesterol

A heart-healthy Italian-inspired dish rich in soluble fiber, plant-based proteins, and healthy fats.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole grain pasta
- 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the whole grain pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and Kalamata olives to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh basil on top before serving.
